The Gender Equity Program at Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur started on 17th Dec, 2012. The funding under this program was provided by USAID in collaboration with Aurat Foundation and The Asia Foundation. The objectives of the program included the establishment of Computer lab linked with web ePortal, small library and a two-month-diploma course on Gender issues. The over all purpose of the grant is to strengthen the Institute of Gender Studies at SALU
The Vice Chancellor’s keen interest in the project made it possible for the project team to start work smoothly at the earliest.
